I can't imagine telling anyone, especially, one with a terminal illness, kidney cancer......Jesus Christ suffered more on the cross. Who has the right to say that? Pain and suffering are subjective complaints?

What's just as bad is "Jesus loves you". I can't believe the audacity of people to tell a suffering person anything for comfort. If Jesus really care he would not have allowed the suffering in the first place, actually he would not have created the suffering(disease) in the first place.
My son has a bone disease that has severely deformed his legs. Luckily at 17 he is now getting both of his knees replaced. I am normally very mild and understanding, but if someone told him Jesus was suffered more than him or had his Devine reasons for crippling him......&%«€¥[»[[&¡| I probably would throw nice out the window.

That is like what a Christian would say. Everything, is always outside themselves! It leaves a non-believer feeling 'unsupported'...we just want to know another person hears our 'hurting plea.' Do YOU care? Do I matter to you? Will I be ok? Those are the kind of words a 'non-believer wants to hear!

No one has the right to belittle a person in pain. They may have a right to their own opinions and you can tell them to get bent. Just my opinion.

As a cancer survivor pain and suffering are individual with different pain threshholds everyone is different.
