We were political opposites, but I have always admired him as a man of honor, and a man who stood up for what he believed, even against impossible odds. We need more like him.

Didn't always agree with his politics, but I admired him as a man. Among the stories about him recently, there was one that talked about his ability to laugh at himself and they pointed to this appearance on SNL
