Having watched countless debates between creationists and atheists, I am not interested in watching more. It's an exercise in futility and I think that there is a bit of egotism involved. It also gives a platform for creationists and gives the false impression that they have a case. I would like to get other viewpoints on this.

I enjoy hearing new points of view and no matter how many debates I have watched I still hear new ones. I can agree with your point when it comes to creationism verses science but it's still much more enjoyable seeing a creationist getting trounced than having to think about the government we are now subjected to.
