Okay, joined a fantasy football team at work for fun and smack talk. What is the latest advice? RBs first or WRs first or mix it up between the two?

Pick the best player available, even if you get more of one position it may be worth stashing for a trade. other than that don't over each to fill a position, TE is notorious for getting under production. Also it's probably worth having a good look at the players available, you may get yourself a sleeper for a later round 🙂

Depends on your draft. Sometimes it's a chest game. If you are familiar with sneaky running backs you should choose wide receivers first. However, I don't choose the top wide receivers 2nd round. I choose the top rb available. The top writer. Then I choose the top QB. Next I choose the top defense. If I do things this way I am able get what I want want with the first 4 rounds. After that I choose top players who I think will make a huge difference. That's where football knowledge comes in.

Depends. There are a couple WRs worth drafting in the first, especially in PPR leagues. Usually though, RB is the most coveted position. There are few "elite" backs and if you don't have one of the top 10 or 15 you'll be at a disadvantage, hoping against an injury and for someone to break out that you can claim off waivers.

Also, QBs are worth less than either. The difference in scoring in fantasy football between the top QB and like, 15th best is like 5 or 6 points on average. It's the scoring system most sites use.

After the QB, always WR. Most points accumulated and even second tier RB's have good days against bad defenses.
