Lately I'm thinking it's more than on e person.

Here is a link to the New York Times Op Ed essay mentioned below:
[nytimes.com]

I hope it works for you.

Thanks!

I have a copy of the Op Ed essay everyone is talking about copied to my hard drive. If anyone is interested in the article I can email it to you. It can also be found, for a time being, easily on the NY Times website.

Whoever it is, he/she is too dumb to think they can stay anonymous. Regardless of the intent, keeping stuff from the president would get someone in legal trouble.

I don't know who it is, but I am willing to bet that history will be very kind to him/her over the long term.

I don't think it really matters who wrote it...I am more interested in why they wrote it. Will it do any good? Is it self-serving or is the author a true American interested in saving our democracy? In any case, it's the best thing I've read all week.

Yeah, I wonder about motive.

@itsmedammit . Perhaps the only motive was that the author thought it needed to be heard.

It was a group letter.

@KateZilla The group

Seems to be the current front runner theory.

@KateZilla A group of people

lawrence O' Donnell of MSNBC had good reasons for thinking Dan Coats. Meanwhile he denies it.

I watched the show and I thought he made a good argument for Coats. Whoever it was, I'm glad they wrote the piece but I don't think they're any kind of hero because of the fact that they made a deal with the devil in order to further their interests.

@gearl Who has most to benefit from it?

@itsmedammit I imagine you mean our dear VP. It could be, but the article was written with more intelligence than I believe Pence has.

I think everyone is going to deny it.
