Anybody else irrationally annoyed by the term, "vibe?" It bugs me that it reffers to the pseudo-science of some sixth sense based on "vibrations" that we unconsciosly give off to communicate with eachother.

nope. our bodies, especially our brains, do emit electrical signals. vibrations, or vibes, may be an inaccurate way to describe that, but it works great, i think, to describe the way we read one another's emotions, state of mind, even small movements that predict other movements. it's not a matter of being psychic; it's not paranormal. (it's not technically vibrations either, but that's decent shorthand for it.) some people are better than others at this kind of reading. i guess they just don't dig the vibes.

Not at all. Some people have a certain "air" about them that causes others to have particular feelings. It could be the way they stand, stare, look, etc. Some call it vibes, some call it intuition. Its basically you super computer brain taking in data on a subconscious level, doing the calculations & coming to a conclusion that hits you as a "hunch" or "gut feeling" or a "vibe".
