Why?

I have no idea.

I do know there are lot of fakes and wired people out there.

I have found being very selective, i.e only allowing those who are not deluded by faith (belief without evidence) as a first door they must pass to gain any level of respect in my "friends" sphere greatly reduces the quantity of irrational (wired and fake) people. to the point where I don't have any even somewhat close friends that fall in that spectrum. I have found those who promote faith, are usually those who are less then honest.

At the first hint of anyone displaying a less then a keen level of adherence to fact over fiction (faith) based interpretation of reality, in a social context, I become less then tolerant of their position and drive away those with irrational faith based drama. So actively repelling fakes and wired is my first line of defense. I'll grant you a few free from faith may also fall within this category but at first hint of BS behavior. I will quickly call attention to their assertion of behavior demonstrating a lack of fitness. In short - I have (over time) learned to drive away those not worthy of my time.

I wish you luck in finding quality people.

According to a developmental model of lying first proposed by Victoria Talwar and Kang Lee, children around the age of two to three years begin by telling primary lies which are designed to conceal transgressions but fail to take the mental state of the listener into consideration. Around the age of four, children learn to tell secondary lies which are more plausible and geared to the listener's mental development. By age seven or eight, children learn to tell tertiary lies which are more consistent with known facts and follow-up statements.

I think that is pretty common. It takes a lot of work to get through it and trust again.

I refuse to let a few bad men destroy my opinion of half the human race.

I don't trust people too easily. Most people are lying and there is too much back stabbing, lies, and meth going around for me trust many. I simply get along and avoid the bullshit. I also hate drama and most people thrive with drama and are into it daily. If I want drama I will watch TV.

I hear you. I'd just like to have a relationship that doesn't seem to cost me vital organs to survive.

Change you picture to a generic lifeless cartoon and your name to something bogus and meaningless, I guarantee you no one would bother you ever again...eeeeeeever

My dad has an analogy for this it makes sense. You can buy lottery tickets and most are going to be losers there is that one ticket out there that can change your life.

I suggest you see a licensed counselor. A good counselor can help you identify self-defeating thinking and behavior patterns, and improve your life.

Counseling helped me tremendously.

Thanks I've done counselling all goes ok little things start me off

Why do you feel like The Lone Ranger in this?

Little things start me off getting better just broke up with a fake who was after my money

I attract narcissists/narcopaths. It’s a lifetime problem, for which I’ve had a LOT of therapy and education. I know how it works, why I attract them(& to be fair, they attract me too), I know the warning signs/red flags.
But I keep doing it. My improvement has been getting out faster when the signs show up.
So I feel you.

Yeah im getting better when they ask for money they get the boot only get caught once

@sunnn I've developed a routine that seems to be working . When someone contacts me , who gives me that feeling of , "Ut oh , scammer ." I immediately tell him , that I've had a problem in the past with scammers , so my rule is , " No matter what someone tells me , no matter how much they think they need me , to send them money , I will never , under any circumstances , wire them money ." Generally speaking , that the last time I ever hear from him .
