So... since getting here I have been trying to get active with the progressive Dem movement specifically for Gov... AND I started dating the mover who got my here but he is not that like minded. We only had 2 dates... and he is nice, but the conversation just doesn't last. Then he tells me his MOM is a "socialist democrat' with a political science degree... So I am Like YEAH... Love to meet her.... then I'm like NO... I Don't want to meet your mother! It was just dating! LOL....

Who knows, though. You may actually like his mom... even though you're not dating. Friends like that are few and far between, so if the opportunity comes up, it might be worthwhile to at least see where it leads.

Sometimes things just don't click, even if people seem to have a lto in common.

If it were me, I'd meet his mother, and make a new friend in her, that woudl hopefully last longer than the dates with her son.

Is he a Trump loving conservative?

He voted for him... which I said could be an issue - but he is certainly not that- I couldn't go there! But guess political apathy bothers me equally that he just didn't like Hillary and voted for that one, Anyway... I don't want to meet his mother Maybe I do, to get her to come with me canvasing for Gillum...but I don't think I want to date him any more. Looks go only so far.

@Dandewine I couldn’t date someone that was the polar opposite of me. I tried dating an overly religious woman before. Couldn’t do it. Lol!
