"When we fully understand the brevity of life, it's fleeting joys and unavoidable pains, when we accept the fact that all of us are approaching an inevitable end, the knowledge of this should make us more kinder and considerate of each other. This knowledge should make us use our best efforts to help one another on our travels through life, to make the journey brighter and easier. This awareness of our own mortality should bring a closer kinship , a better understanding and a deeper empathy for our fellow travelers on life's adventure who must live a common life and die a common death."(Clarence Darrow/ The Myth of the Soul)

What a beautiful passage! Too bad that we are not always and socially programmed to live in such a manner! We should all try to live by that ode and to model that for our children.

I second the motion!
