investing may or may not be easy. getting the return for your investments is not only not guaranteed, but unusual. your statement is rather general, too. it's nice to think about investing in your dreams. what does that MEAN, exactly?

Investing is easy relative to reaping desired outcomes / rewards. That's the sticking-point. In my experience, the connection between effort / intent and outcomes is flaky on a good day when the wind is blowing just right. Which means that dogged persistence is the only strategy that tends to work over time.
