I do because otherwise my bag-of-water bed would be very exposed to the claws of four cats. I cannot risk it.

i don't. never have, never will. i don't see the point. i hate top sheets anyway. if i get into a freshly made bed i have to rip it apart to be comfortable. i want my feet sticking out of the bottom!
