I have a thought about intelligence and being smart. Smart is using the tools you have to accomplish something, and intelligence is knowing what those tools are. Just saying.

good definition of smart. the definition of intelligence, not so much.

Think about it. In my mind, a crow is smart or clever to use a stick to get an insect out of a hole, but what is its IQ? Toss that around in your mind for a bit. Just saying. May the spaghetti monster rain pasta on you. Have a great evening.

@Boatsailor my mind doesn't toss iq around a lot anymore. i am not sure what it measures. if it's intelligence, as claimed, what kind of intelligence is it?

"Smart" is just a slang word for "intelligent."
It used to mean nice, stylish, etc., as in "that's a smart suit."

Well, that's smart of you!

Smart has other definitions. Depending on the context of the subject matter. Please check your dictionary. I checked mine. I wish you well.
