What do you think of Sex We Can! An Erotic Uprising premiering as part of the Fertile Ground Festival taking place in Portland, OR? Sex We Can! is made up of stories, scenes, songs and poetry that change the cultural narrative around sex from shame to celebration, from fear to empowerment, and from hiding to showing up and sharing.

Probably a good idea, but not for a demisexual. Just the thought of any kind of ...that..makes me feel nauseated. I have a super strong libido, but not for any gender or person, and as a demisexual, I can only be sexually attracted to one person at a time, and only after a prolonged courtship or over a year. Right now, that isn't happening, so ..eeeeew!

Although I'm not a very sexual person in that I take on very few lovers in my lifespan, I think this is awesome! We shouldn't be ashamed of our sexuality. Sex is healthy and for far too long its been a center of shame or ridicule. I am a HUUGE fan of Dr. Kinsey and he truly was one of the first professionals that took the time to honestly assess sexuality and the acts of sex. I think we focus too frequently on downing sexuality rather than lending it support. We should do the latter. 😉

That sounds really interesting. I think it's important to root out ideas about sex that are damaging, and celebrate all the ways that sex can be diverse, beautiful and fun. I wish I could go.

Sounds good to me. There's too much bad stigma around a natural and enjoyable act. We should be comfortable with a natural past time. Being open leads to being responsible, repression leads to priests turning into monsters.
