The rapist-friendly U.S. administration, with the help of congressional Republicans, is defending Supreme Court candidate Kavanaugh's right to rape, why?

Bill Cosby was charged and convicted, as others have, but Republicans and Donald Trump want to give Kavanaugh a pass and immunity. Why? And are Americans generally outraged?

Political agenda, nothing more nothing less

Which means what, exactly?

America is a big place. Like Canada. I don't think anything "generally' applies in either place

You're right, one can't generalize. But one can evaluate any group of people based on their actions. And Trump's administration is proud of what it does to people.

@josephr I can agree with that. Much more specific field

Why? Because they are the party of "winning is everything". They do not care about facts or precedent or truth or appearances or anyone who is not "of them".

Appealing to their morals, conscience or ethics is pointless. You would be speaking down an empty well...

Sad but true.

Has the accuser presented any evidence for her accusations? I thought most people on this site would require some evidence for accepting a belief...

Yes, that exactly what the old white men leading the Senate committee are saying. But they're also saying that no investigation by FBI is necessary. LLOL

Some Republicans contend that people have faulty memories after thirty-five years but thirty-five years ago was just when I was escaping religion and I had some traumatic things happening to me. I remember them very, very well.

Nobody had a problem judging and convicting Bill Cosby for a 35 year old crime.

I’m still pissed about the Anita Hill / Clarence Thomas BS. So, yeah, I’m mad as hell about the politicians behavior

Me too. I remember listening to Anita Hill's testimony so many years ago on NPR. Here we go again with some of the same old white men, only now they're older.

Sounds like GOP men. They have all done casual sexual assaults themselves, so want to defend such behavior as "normal."
