While I am obviously not religious, I have always been impressed with religious architecture. I visited the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona on Friday, holy shit Batman! That place was amazing!!!!

I went to Italy and every church was full of awe inspiring paintings, mosaics and sculptures. Most of which had Christian / Catholic themes. It made me wonder what great works of art could have been created if the artists weren't commissioned by the church. I enjoyed all of it none the less and the sculptures the most.

You can admire art in all of its forms no matter the motivation for creating it.
I had a relative give me a turquoise cross years ago that came from a relative on the reservation. I was beautiful and I did wear it for a while.

I have it somewhere and will likely give it to my daughter unless she deconverts.
