I have an inflatable one. But it is pretty small. Not really room if there are two people init for even a cooler of any size. Maybe we could tow along a little raft or something.

@AnneWimsey This is a two person. Sea Eagle to be exact. I've had one about 8 years.
My friend and his brother tried to cruise over an oyster bed and shredded the bottom.
The portability is very convenient.

The paddle boat are $30 an hour.

They are completely off their feed.

@BufftonBeotch Sounds like savage capitalism. Just go for a walk! Every morning a bunch of jokers tries to extract 10 yuan from me to give me a ride on a motorbike or electric scooter to the station from where I can the metro (you might call it subways) to have my 8 yuan breakfast at McDonald's.

So I just walk and keep fit. To cover the portion for which these wannbe capitalists I need about 10 minutes.

@PontifexMarximus On the rare occasion I drink coffee it will be black. Not that syrupy liquid, foamy, sugary crap 5' 6" tall children drink.

And I have an inflatable kayak which is small, but I and my used it to get from Bahia Honda Key to Deer Key and we did not die.

I think it will suffice just fine on a lake.

If we decide being "on" the lake is better than looking at the lake.
