politicians' salaries are not out of line with the job they theoretically do. the problems are 1. some of them don't do their jobs. 2. they supplement their salaries with bribes and 3. some of them are so ignorant it's a wonder they can remember how to breathe. vote blue. nobody is perfect and no party is perfect but the democratic party as a whole is honest even if there are (as expected) individuals within it who may be less worthy than others. the republican party is a criminal organization, and by the way, it PAYS to put green party candidates on ballots to split the liberal vote. it works. it keeps republicans in power. think about it. anyway, it's not about salaries. it's about bribes and other lucrative criminal activity.
