Those who did not get married I request them not to marry. Because we have created the odor of this world. Will you give birth to your children in this world. In which humans creating problems for humans to be successful. Just like some power full countries. And we are giving more birth to baby's. But we are not seeing that baby's who living in Africa. And more poor countries. We have made this world just like hell. We should stop makings baby's.

There is clear evidence that the birth rate is in decline, globally. Wealthy nations with access to health care, family planning and education for women are approaching zero growth, or no more than two (2) children per household, on average. And there is no reason to expect that the developing world will alter this trend, as poverty is reduced, child mortality diminished greatly, and girls are educated to become equal players with their male counterparts in the work force. For a better perspective on this, I recommend Hans Rosling's work, including his books, lectures and TED talks.

I'm proudly child free and if I marry it'll be to another child free lady, so there's that.

The term for your ideology is "antinatalism". (Anti = against, Natalism = giving birth). That is a hard enough sell without confusing it with "don't get married".

In my view it is more practical to argue for people to be far more self-aware and thoughtful concerning the decision to have children. One can make pretty good arguments that its in one's rational self-interest to be childless, without even getting into the abstractions of how much suffering there is in the world. Generally speaking people only care about their own suffering, and being human, they under-estimate difficulties and over-estimate benefits, and so assume that they and their children will not suffer. Sometimes they are even substantially correct about that.

Obviously most children grow up to think their life is (or will become) worthwhile because most people don't kill themselves.

It is not up to me to decide if other people's lives are worth living or if it's moral for them to bring children into the world. And since my resources and energy is limited, I pick my battles. I argue against magical / uncritical thinking and I figure that cuts down on religion, birth rates, and a whole bunch of things.

Unfortunately humans are a selfish and arrogant species that won't be happy until every animal is dead, every tree is chopped down, and every ocean is empty. Then, only then, will they see what absolute assholes they were.

i am 66 and a half years old and engaged to be married. i cannot have any children and would not have had children even had i married younger, so why in the world would you care if i got married? request denied!

i never wanted kids, but if someone wants to have kids, married or not, who has the right to tell them not to do so? having a baby in the united states does not automatically hurt a baby in africa. having 16 of them in order to get your own tv show is a different story, but having a kid or two is not something anyone else should control. why is everyone trying to control women's bodies all the time? if a woman wants to give birth, let her! if a woman finds herself pregnant and doesn't want to give birth and decides to end the pregnancy, let her! it's nobody's business! the same goes for marriage: it's up to the two people involved. (and it doesn't hurt other people to do so, regardless of what the situation is elsewhere in the world. married people can even go help people elsewhere in the world! what has their being married got to do with it?)

g

i like that thought

"Married" has little to do with making babies. Most parents at my school are single parents. Many of those I know who have recently married will not have children.

As for "odor" of this world? Yes by burning fossil fuels we have condemned ourselves to a warming planet.

Marrying is not necessary to procreate, ya know.......
