Yes,idioms,manner of speech,and lexicons,trip up someone not born in the US,slang is another tripping point I look for when a Woman contacts me showing interest.

I have had about three recently whose messages lead me to believe that English is not their mother tongue. Start asking questions. It's not difficult to catch them in a lie.

The two Women I met on this site seemed genuine,but when tried a phone call,it was re-routed to Africa,when asking my ISP,they could only trace so far,the call was full of distortions,and a noisy back ground with African Men talking,so beware,do not give up your heart without verifying just who are where youare talking to, "Catfishing" it's called.

If they show interest, in my experience, they're fake! lol

They tell you fairly quickly that they find you captivating in some way. Almost always an engineer or high up in the military.
