I've been on this site for a short time and this is my first time posting. Like any virgin, I'm a bit nervous about it ?

My first thought upon joining here was that the community appears barren and my instinct was to back out of the community. I obviously didn't back out because I realized that we are a unique group in addition to most of us being more discerning than the populace. Long story shorter, I stayed up help build the community

You thought we were barren....what a strange statement! Whatever changed your mind then? It seems like a very egotistical remark that you made stating that you decided to stay to help build the community. Didn’t know we needed the help as we are already here and functioning as a community.

@Firewalk Don’t want to be harsh, maybe I should just have welcomed you. I’m sure you meant no offence, so Im glad you decided to stay .....have fun, join a few groups. ?

Barren? I wish there were more members too. But at least this site keeps me connected to people who live in reality.

I think you will (have) find it to be a duller albeit smarter version of Face book.... the girls are really not too interested in dating etc. and quite a few are in relationships, but you might eke out some conversation.

There aren’t girls on this site. There are plenty of adult women here who are open to dating.

PLEASE don't compare this place to Facebook...

Hi. Glad you stayed. Appearances can be deceiving...though there have been some sparce stretches in my experience. Like everything else, this site can be cyclical.

@Firewalk Oh I see. Yeah - this site has lots of members from all around the world. Might not find many in your area depending on where you live but new people are joining all the time
