I was parking today and this ahole came out of nowhere and took my spot. I got out to tell him that was my spot and he said i didn't have the blinker on and by law I should have it on and therefore he was in his right to steal my spot and refused to move.
I was furious, my foot caught on something and i took a fall hitting my knee, tore my brand new pants where my knee hit the ground, so my pants are in style now, and got blood trickling down my leg, plus, i re hurt my wrist that has a problem and needs surgery. My brother was furious on my behalf and doesn't take lightly anyone messing with me and wanted to confront him about 30 minutes later when he got in town. I told him he left when we went to the spot just so as he wouldn't get in a fight with him since he also had a kid in the front seat.
Bottom line, as we were leaving I noticed he had decals, jesus is watching, christian life, jesus is love, cross and other religious crap all over his bumper and rear view windshield. He also had proud graduate of the seminary school here in NYC.
Apparently that's the christian life, stealing other people's spots, lying about it and when they're bleeding rolling up your windows. And what a lesson for the kid as well!!!

I can sympathize with you but personally I would never have confronted him over something like this. In todays world something this trivial could have got you shot and killed. I would have simply have found another spot. I do understand if it takes up to 45 minutes to find a spot, but this asshole didn't want to look another 45 minutes either plus he is a liar.

So called christian people are the least jesus like people usually. Year's back I called a Christian school to complain about an older student bullying my younger son. I requested the parents call me. The father did. He seemed to think there was nothing wrong and his son had endured similar things and everything should be dropped no matter how logical my argument was. So, I sunk to his level, which, at first, seemed to over joy him. I said fine, we will do it your way. After a short pause, I added that I didn't want him calling back if my younger son's older brother stepped in and got involved. Amazing how quickly he stuttered that things would be different; and they were, much to my older son's chagrin when he heard he may be given permission to fully protect his younger sibling.

For those of you that live anywhere other than NYC, parking is at a premium here and typically you have to drive around between 45 minutes to an hour to find a spot, so having your spot stolen is a big deal! Once I tried for four hours in vain until I gave up and went home because I was beat!
