Conversation starter...

If you go back in time and teach young Einstein relativity theory, where does the idea come from?

The original time line, all you have done is create an alternate.

Time travel (at least within the same universe) is not possible. It may be (however, it is still very highly unlikely) that one could travel to an alternate or a parallel universe and change events there, but you cant' change the past within your own universe of origin. It is my understanding that it would defy physics and the laws of existence in this universe to do so.

Time travel to the past is not available... Theoretically, time travel to the future could be if you could travel at the speed of light or beyond... But it would be a one way trip.

@Cutiebeauty.... I love your mind!

Awww.... Thank you so very much heehee ?

Neil Degrasse Tyson theorized if you created a wormhole and traveled faster then light 1000 light years, then created a 2nd wormhole and traveled 2000 light years back, you very probably would arrive 1000 years before you left.

He thought it up all by himself...what are you talking about, "teach him"???

I think I just watched this Doctor Who episode!

Einstein connected the dots from prior empirical discoveries and from the failure of other theories to account for them. Without those the theory of relativity would not be needed. Newton's laws would have been fine.
What I'm trying to say is that such ideas also are a product of its time. I think it would not have taken long even without Einstein to come up with the theory of relativity.

Time travel does not exist ... End of conversation ?😉

@WeaZ no... Silly... Lol. Just because the brain is slow doesn't mean it's in the past... Is the CPU of a computer in a different time zone than the harddrive?

@WeaZ time zones are arbitrarily set by humans... So, any duration of time can be considered a time zone for certain purposes.. So, yes ... Tag, you're it lol

@WeaZ measurement of time is well defined not arbitrary or random. Time zones are arbitrary. At certain distances, time zones change. What time is it one billionth of an inch to this left, if it is 12:00.00 in your current location...

@WeaZ therefore time travel exists merely by walking lol. Nonsense tag

@WeaZ time zones do not measure time... Time zones are tools to assist people from far distances to coordinate their actions... Tag.

@WeaZ no, like a pair of glasses lol. To perceive not measure. Nice try lol

@WeaZ reread from the beginning... I already said this. Time zones are arbitrarily set by humans ...

@WeaZ time zones aren't random, undecided, or undetermined.. Just the opposite in fact. The whole world decided upon and uses time zones. They were determined to mean certain things to certain people. It is understood by all that if it is a certain time in one place on the planet, it is a predetermined and decided upon time elsewhere. There is peer group agreement here. It is factual.

@WeaZ definitions are also arbitrary.. Words only mean what they mean because we say so. There is no proof, just agreements... Lol

@WeaZ yup lol and don't forget suppositions and theories... From degrasse lol

@WeaZ apparently that video you posted here lol

@WeaZ it's all a dream.. Soon we will wake up and realize we don't really exist ....

@WeaZ I think... Therefore I know.. I'm dreaming...

@WeaZ and actually the question is, if we wake up and realize we don't exist, how could we have be dreaming...

@WeaZ the statement /question doesn't exist ha

Of course time travel exists, we all travel through time millisecond by millisecond our entire life

@LenHazell53 down a one way street, yes. Not in reverse...

Wait, I saw this one! Didn't Marty go back in time and inform Doc Brown about the Flux Capacitor? Holy Logic Loop, Batman, you've found a 'temporal paradox!' 😉

No Doc Brown had already fallen off the the toilet and invented the FC by the time Marty got there.
He did however inspire his own name

@LenHazell53 Thank you for setting me straight! Peace.
