I just got home from attending one of my best friends funeral.
I have to admit.. the ones with faith have a nice advantage at times.. they can just believe he is on to a better place and will see him again.. can even talk to him and "feel" his presence..
Myself I just feel guilty I didnt reach out more when I could have.. now it's to late.

Wow I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s true that we have to accept that this is all we get and do the best we can with it.

Just because it is a nice story does not make it real.
However memories are real, and they do stay with you.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I totally understand about the feeling of guilt. No matter what anyone says it won’t go away that easily. I hope you heal soon.
