It's officially fall (autumn to you in oz) and my usual cooking mania is taking over. I like to cook all the time, but it becomes almost obsessive starting about October until the end of the year. Apples, spices, pumpkin, roast turkey, chili, ..... I have a blueberry pie cooling on the counter, and a blueberry clafoutis still in the oven. (If that doesn't sound strange, let me point out it's 9:30 and I drove over 200 miles in July to get the peak of the Michigan blueberries -- 20 pounds of them.) I see a lot more of this in the next week or so since it looks like another knee surgery coming up and I need to feed myself, so I'll stock the freezer.
But, looking away from the shiny thing and getting back to my point, do any of you have fall favorites that yo?u cook/bake?

I love exploring recipes from different cuisines and cultures and putting my own spin on them. Whether it's a quick weeknight dinner or an elaborate feast, I enjoy the process of cooking and sharing food with others.

To find inspiration and new recipes, I often turn to online sources like food blogs, cooking websites, and social media platforms.
Some of my favorite sources for recipes include:

Bon Appetit - a popular food magazine that offers a wide variety of recipes, cooking tips, and food-related content.

Epicurious - a recipe website that features thousands of recipes from around the world, as well as cooking techniques, ingredient guides, and more.

Serious Eats - a food blog that provides in-depth culinary analysis, science-based cooking tips, and creative recipes.

Sweetandsavorymeals - a community-driven recipe website that offers a range of recipes, cooking advice, and product recommendations from home cooks and culinary experts.

You're right! I mentioned it because I correspond with a friend in Oz who corrects me every time I refer to fall (wherever it is)
