I just saw that a Texas judge, told a jury that God talked to him, and wants them to come in with a not guilty verdict..
And, As far as I know, he's still a judge ?????
That's bias and so wrong to say. isn't the jury there to make it a fair decision? he needs firing for incompetence. he may as well not had a jury.
Well Texas first govenor was drunk by noon everyday, so if you have a critical need to see him, you had tl be there early to get to the front of the line to get a guaranteed turn.
Horrible! These are challenging times due to the environment created by our racist administration in the WH. He should not be allowed to sit on the bench if he still believes in bible mythology.
There must be a way to turn the judgs over to proper authorities and get him a mental exam.
That is beyond disturbing. I wonder how much this judge was paid to sway the jury. Ugh.
In our judicial system a judge can tamper with a jury.
@Atheistman god has spoken to the judge and the judge can give instructions to the jury as they always... Always... ALWAYS DO.
@GipsyOfNewSpain I would think giving instructions is mandatory, but I question that making a statement of his delusion would be considered "instruction"
@jlynn37 Some judges carry their delusion in the sleeve of their robes.
WOW, had not thought of Butler in forever. My first wedding was in Kittanning . . .
I saw that article on another forum. He DID at least recuse himself and allow a different judge to come in, and the good news is that the jury "disobeyed god" by ignoring his "word from the Lord" and convicted the defendant. Who, by the way, was a woman who pimped out her own child.
This is just another manifestation of the moral bankruptcy and delusion of evangelical Christianity.
