We've all heard the saying,

"if it don't apply, let it fly."

What about,
"if it does apply, then ask why? "

Do many people ask this question?

Any thoughts or observations ?

I have variations of these before.

I don't think the first quote makes sense. The second one is much better.

It means that if you hear something that doesn't affect you, let it go. Dont argue about it.

I don't agree--If something is wrong people need to speak up. Like this other quote which I am totally mis-quoting--all that evil needs to succeed is for good people to remain silent.

I've actually never heard that verse before (maybe it's a localized expression?).
At any rate, I always say "if it feels good do it"...??

I say, if it doesn't rhyme... Aw, crap...

Doctors hate being asked why.

I've actually never heard those sayings before. Could it be a regional thing?
