So nice to lay around all day, reading napping and doing nothing!

Rest. Heal yourself. Listen to what your body needs. Oh yeah and find someone willing to pamper you in cases like this.

I love having those kind of days once and a while. However recently I have been to busy working on my home and getting it ready for winter. I recently purchased my grandparents old home that my grandfather built. It is very sentimental and I love that aspect of it, but it also needs tons of work, since it went over 20 years with no one residing there.

Waiting for it to warm up a bit more so I can play an half-round of golf.

Too cold for golf?

@GreatNani 50 this morning in central MO. Waited until it hit 60 to play my game. Shot a 69. On the second hole, I shot... LOL

@SageDave Well, keep trying!

What's is this... doing nothing of which you speak? I seem to remember it faintly...

LOL! It is what happens when pneumonia knocks you on your ass!

@GreatNani Understood. Sending you more healing vibes.

That's what I do on weekends. TV, nap, read, computer. Just take it easy. I take at least one nap every day.

Today I took a nap. Still recovering from pneumonia. Got up at 5:45 a.m. Couldn't sleep.

I was haunted by a story I read before bed in Outside magazine, about nine people who froze to death in a massive blizzard while summiting Mt. Hood in Oregon in May 1986.

Oregon Episcopal High School had an Outward Bound-style program for sophomores. The author interviewed survivors and parents of children who died. It was heartbreaking.

The expedition leader insisted on pushing the students to summit, knowing a massive snowstorm was going to hit.

I am recovering from pneumonia as well. And that story sounds distressing.

@GreatNani

"Recovering from pneumonia can take as long as 16 weeks," my doctor said. "It can take that long to get your regular energy back."

I'm sorry you had pneumonia recently, too. Glad you are getting better. Hugs.

@LiterateHiker thanks! I need to pay more attention to what my body tells me. If it says nap I need to nap🙂
