The Roman Catholic Church is (rightly) under siege these days and so of course it's going to resurrect every practice it has ever claimed to be the sole source of, in order to remind the sheeple of how absolutely necessary and needed they are, even if they are a nest of pedophiles.

If it was April 1st., I would have thought it was an April Fool’s Day item. If this is a true story it’s frightening that so many people still believe this rubbish. Ireland is no longer in the grip of Catholicism like it used to be and it is really only the older generation that still believe in that sort of mumbo jumbo...or so I thought!
