I was blown away after being shown the story of the Egyptian god Horus and how Jesus was so similar.

I also learned about why the virgin birth is so popular amongst the myths of the gods of old. The main thing I drew from it was that on December 24th a star in the east called Sirius is in line with 3 bright stars in orion’s belt Known as the three kings. And together they point to the sun rise which is symbolic of the sun being born on the 25th of December marking the beginning of a new year.

There’s a big list of gods sharing this birthday and it makes sense now.

I didn’t know any of this till my friend showed me recently. Just wow...

There were many dying and resurrecting Gods at the time. Jesus simply had to also do so or he would not have been considered noteworthy it also applies to his supposed virgin birth.

The ancient Sumerians liked a guy named Gilgamesh. It was about 6 thousand of your years ago. He was very similar to your Jesus and some think Jesus was a copycat.

Read "the World's 16 Crucified Saviors" by Kersey Graves if you can find it. Very old book and I have an old copy. Not perfect but it puts this all together pretty well for the time it was written.
