Recruiters (Rant content!)

I'm not currently in the market for a new gig, but most people in the tech world keep their resumes out there on the main sites. I get 5-6 emails per week soliciting interest in any number of jobs, most of which begin with "I found your resume on ....." I seriously doubt many of these are read. The vast majority of the jobs are either in another skill silo altogether, or at unrealistic levels in mine. But today I get one seeking an accounting degree and a CPA license. I am an IT Security consultant/project manager, and have absolutely zero on my resume anywhere close to accounting. Does this same disconnect occur in other fields as well?
