How many here have a goal to optimize health and happiness and how do you do that?
Lately my missing link had been the exercise component. I can't move my body out of bed to get to the gym
I recognize how lucky I am to have my health, so my theory is "use it or lose it" which means I try to stay active doing things that make me feel alive and activities I enjoy anyway, like bicycling along the coast, hiking the wooded trails, swimming in my pool and safe swimming areas in nature. Same goes for my brain. I'm glad I have at least average intellect, wisdom and reasoning skills, so I exercise those when I can, for fear I'll lose them if I don't. My strategy is to just keep doing things I like to do, or a reasonable facsimile upon losing my ability for various things.
No matter how bad it gets … caring for myself as though some day I was glad I did
Thanks, Crunch Gym analyzed me Sunday, a bit humbling. Why didn't I look like Cheryl Tiegs? I'll keep trying. At least others appreciate my manners and help.
