You are right. The majority of the speech dealt with the fear that most right-wing Trumpists support. Anti-caravan and immigrant, anti-Democrats and any position they take, the loss of jobs and the ruining of the economy if the Dems win next week. And so on. It was fear mongering at its best.

I just read a study that inducing fear causes people to shift conservative. No surprise there.

The worst fear I see comes from the GOP over a possible balance of power or loss of one of the houses. The reason this is so funny is because they cannot govern while they have power. Did anyone think of that? They want to thank Trump for so many wonderful things. What things? Then Trump wants to give 100 of his people lie detector tests over a NY Post op ed. Where are Larry, Curly, And Moe?
