I would go with3, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12.

1. Involves feelings and feelings are often wrong. One gives to charity usually because it makes them feel good. The old religious adage applies to that “The road to hell is paved with good intentions”.
2. Communication is fraught with pitfalls. Saying what I mean often brings misinterpretation for others. Say what you think and be open to dialogue.
3. Instincts are often wrong. I cannot know all the details and need to go with information. Instincts have gotten me in trouble.
4. Self-criticism and admitting mistakes is important to me as a way of growing.
5. I have had many dreams and somehow they never came to fruition (I am an orchardist and like that word). I have found it is sometimes better to go with the flow and be surprised.
6. If this one was true I wouldn’t be here nor involved with the important issues we face.

To that, I would add: Don't be in a hurry-for anything.

(1) Never compromise yourself.
(2) No ego satisfactions.
OR -- To thine own self (not your ego) be true, and do it at your own expense.
