Sorry, I didn't mean to elaborate so much for any one who gets bored reading long posts.

Why I think the show 'Mythbusters' was one of the best show ever.

I've always been a huge fan of many fields of Science. And even more so the promotion of critical thinking, and the Scientific method.

There have been quite a few Scientists that share that same sentiment over the years, dating back to Micheal Faraday and his Christmas science demonstrations in 1825, which is a tradition to this day.

And in modern times there have some greats like Carl Sagan,Neil Degrasse Tyson, Richard Dawkins, and many others.

The thing i like about mythbusters is that they are not Scientist in the fact that none of them have any degrees in any Scientific fields, with the exception of Grant who has a masters in engineering.

As adam puts it, "Collective ignorance".
But they still use the Scientific method, and critical thinking applied to all myths concerned.

They have a great way of not only making critical thinking fun, but inspire others to do the same.

Plus, they blow a lot of shit up.
