Not when your president tells over 5000 lies

i have not found this to be true, actually. i wouldn't even generalize about what people believe. my friends believe politicians who back their words up with actions, and whose statements can be supported with facts. other people seem to believe ridiculous lies. i do not find that these beliefs change according to election season. the lies get more intense, but the beliefs stay the same. either you can tell when someone is lying or you can't. some can. some can't.

LOL... That is a very good question.

I think in reality it is more of an illusion though. At elections we just pay more attention to what people think politically. It seems to me that Trump supporters have believed Trump all the way, no matter how many lies he has told, and their belief is not limited to aroudn elections. That is just an exmple of how people dont' really change their views about political truthfulness between elections. They just dot' generally voice them as much.

Same reason many of them trust clergymen
