What's your Krispy Kreme? @Yogisan (who's one vast green-coloured briny away from me) offered to treat me to one doughnut if the Disney movie 'Old Yeller' didn't bring tears to my eyes. (re: my post about movies that make you cry).

I must admit I prefer one irresistibly tempting carbs-laden Krispy Kreme over scones and jam/clotted cream with my English tea ('Off with her head!'😉

Original Glazed is an all-time favourite and the rest would have fancier names and flavours and colours exploding with fillings and toppings.

Besides the Original Glazed, I really love the Oreo Cookies and Kreme. What do you fancy then?

When I was a kid, that was the first movie that made me cry. I don't care for Krispy Kreme.

If anyone is near the ATL area, or happens to come in sometime in the future, ping me beforehand and we'll go get some KKs and coffee - my treat. 🙂 I'd love to meet people IRL. Especially if you're local. Being newly single and moving to a different area from ATL, it would be nice to have friends and a social life with people with whom I can be myself.

Krispy Kreme is way too sweet for me. I love a good coffee roll though, whoever makes it.

My go to was glazed but I don’t do all the sugar anymore. Makes my teeth hurt and donuts just don’t agree with me anymore.

I can't stomach Krispy Kreme. Lived behind one for years.

Now, if you're talking Dunkin' Donuts, that's a whole different thing.
Chocolate glazed, with apple fritters as a close second.

They put one directly on my way home from work (now closed), just before a stoplight. You could smell it waiting at the light. Another thing, for some reason they would be making a fresh batch just as I got off work so they were still hot and they had a drive thru. I'm diabetic now. Oh, the regular glazed hot is still the best.

I'm from the land of Krispy Kreme (ATL), and I love them immensely. Before they started making them got all the time (and there weren't as many restaurants), they used to make them between 2-4am. Back then the ATL bars closed at 2am, so we'd head over to the KK on Ponce (E. Ponce deLeon Ave) and sit at the counter, talking to the bakers, and they would literally use their wooden dowels to take them straight from the line to our plates, hot & fresh as can be.

It was heaven. ??

Krispy Kreme is garbage. Good donuts come in pink boxes.

I hate cakey doughnuts. KKs melt in your mouth.

Hell I've seen wedding cakes made out of KKs multiple times.

I can save you a step. Just dump a bag of sugar in your mouth. No need to drive all the way to a Krispy Kreme for that.

Chocolate eclairs...

Im pissed that my krispy kreme I grew up with closed/changed brands n we only recently got one back. I saw how when Ireland got one a couple months ago it damn near caused a riot, people in gridlock honking like maniacs all night ? but I understand. It is indeed that good. I havent been to mine in a while and traditionally wed just go for glazed, but I hope they have cookies n kreme, I gotta go check soon. Mmmmm

@Wurlitzer hah I've heard from work that same news bout Dublin a few weeks back and a social media tweet that joked crowd at KK was far bigger than Pope's recent visit. I do hope you get to find and enjoy an Oreo Cookies n Kreme somewhere near you soon... and I'm nipping round the shop shortly to buy meself some scones (as the closest KK's 14 miles away store locator says so)

Before I turned stupid vegan, it was banana moon pies

Have you ever had an original chocolate moonpie microwaved for 20-30 seconds? Oh god its like the best gooey smores ever.

@Wurlitzer if I ever quit this diet (probably never), that will be the first thing I have. That or a weinerschnitzel chili dog
