I've noticed an oddity with spell checker: sometimes I get a red line and can get a drop down list of possible words and at others, I get the pink box and no options which forces me to try a couple of spelling variations before giving up and googling it.

Is this deliberate or a bug?

I have the same issue, but it’s only when making an initial comment to a post. When replying to a comment it’s fine.
