Perhaps someone can explain to me WHY Xtianity/Xtians, who so loudly proclaim themselves to lovers of peace and goodwill towards ALL have a hymn/psalm ( call it what you may) where the opening line goes, " Onward Xtian Soldiers marching as to War...."
i've never been christian but i can speculate it had to do with the crusades, during which christians marched off to convert or kill the muslims, without a preference which they ended up doing, as long as they got the goods they'd been missing when the muslims cut off trade with europe.
