Have you had experience in the past about choosing between two different religions [The further apart the better] . If so how did you set about making
a) the gathering of knowledge about the religions
b) the decision. Was it easy?
c) an appraisal of your decision in the light of your following period within a different religion.

NB I am not so interested in the change from religion to Non Belief as there are plenty of other posts which give us an idea of that process BUT if you want to tell us please do - using the above stages

Upon participating in a very ugly nation building exercise (the Vietnam War), and then traveling to numerous places on our planet which would be classified as "third" world, I came to the conclusion that there is no God. And that Nature is indifferent. But that there are many unexplained and "yet to be identified" phenomenon that can easily be "worshipped", if you let yourself fall into the Magical Beings mindset. So, I've chosen Naturalism as a philosophy.... but not a "Religion".
