I just have to point out the flaw in your statment, and it's a pet pieve of mine.
I hate when people put ALL of any one in the same group.
I know plenty of reps that understand global warming, and climate change.
On that same note, I know quite of dems that don't have a problem with owning guns.
There are a lot, including myself, that accept some conservitive things, and also accept liberal things.

Some point in the not so distant future these people are going to look really stupid, or should I say a lot stupider than the sound today....
