I don’t understand homophobia:

You’ve got a man with an IQ so low that you’d have to bore through several layers of Earth’s strata just to reach it;
Who listens to Ted Nugent for his lyrical “depth”;
And wears size forty-eight jeans while his belly still hangs over his belt in such a way that the shirt can no longer conceal it;
While under his face, multiple chins hang almost to his breasts—breasts which are now pushing into Double-D territory;

And he’s screaming that faggots are trying to convert him.

Sweetie, even Jesus couldn’t convert you.

The other users made good points, but it can also be due to the fact that LGBTQ people are challenging gender roles(and it makes a lot of people uncomfortable. Example: consider the stereotypical gay guy-effeminite, not "macho", ect. Witnessing other men break out of the mold they've bought into for so long.

There's a lot going on, and it's startling to say the least. What used to seem like a simple cut and dry case of male/female is getting more and more complicated as we speak (biologists, am I right?). So a certain amount of uncomfortability (new word) is expected. Unfortunately, though, there are those who cannot allow themselves to understand beyond their prejiduce. And they miss out on meeting some great people and learning a lot more about gender fluidity and sexuality. And they live in fear of some of the most harmless people they will ever meet.

Honestly, when I see obnoxious, outspoken homophobes. I just assume that they're gay and have been brainwashed into feeling guilty and hate themselves for it.

I've often said, "the more anti-gay they are, the more likely they are to be found sniffing coke off a twink's ass."

@Benthoven that hypothesis does seem to hold up.

@kasmian: In fact, it's that grin that makes the whole thing way more hilarious.

God hates queers! Just kidding. I was just giving a bubble caption to the asshole that you were describing. 😉

Fear of course. It stems from fear.

Agreed.. I was watching another segment on “The Eighties” on Netflix … and had nearly forgot how AIDs fired up his kind. And for awhile, had everyone on edge.. I’d suspected then, and feel confident now that AID’s gave us 8 - 12 years of Reagan/ Bush while solidifying the radical religious wrong within the Republican Party.

As for the guy you describe here.. He knows no more now than he did back then ~
