I spent today doing Grammy duty, my 7 month old grandson has bronchiolitis and his mom, my daughter did not want to send him to day care. He took a 3 hour nap while I was there, and I believe in the healing power of sleep, so I think that was what was needed. He also got up on his hands and knees, he isn't crawling yet. According to his mom that was a first for him. He ate good for me, but he just really does not look like he wants to party. I love being a grammy and I'm glad I had the time to help them out.

I agree sleep was probably the best thing. Poor guy. Grammies make the best sitters for sick babies... Your daughter is lucky to have you there!

Poor baby. He looks exhausted and sick from having bronchitis. Does he have a fever?

So glad you were able to take care of him! He needs plenty of liquids and rest. I agree that sleep is healing.

When he is coughing, a humidifier helps. I don't know if babies can take cough medicine.

There is a humidifier in his room, and no cough meds for babies his age. He was not running a fever, I have thermometer hands and checked frequently. He was feeling much better when his folks got home from work, so we are hopeful that yesterday was the worst of it and he is on the mend.
