For the people who think I flirt too much, or "lay it on too thick", or frankly am being a smarmy shite, know this: the people with whom I converse, in my mind, deserve even better than I'm capable of communicating. They are worthy of every iota of praise they receive, in my opinion. You can make the claim they aren't worthy of it in your mind, but not in mine.
You can argue with my methods, but you sure as shite can't argue with my opinions.

And if it's working for you, I don't see the harm.
I am a little confused though: your post starts by sounding confrontational, and then ends with claiming confrontation is not an option. Do you feel attacked by others? Or is this just a roundabout compliment to your friends?
And if their replies are taken at face value, some of the ladies like it.

I do feel attacked at times. It's likely no one you would have seen - our groups tend to be amazing people who look for the best in people, which makes me lucky in a sense, or maybe skillful? I'm not sure. I just know people have called me fake for it before, and it bothered me. Thank you (genuinely) for asking.

If I were even half as sexy as you, I'd be the sexiest man alive. You remind me of the good things in life, from belly dancing to pets to the sweetest honeydew on a hot day. That last one is just sort of a feeling, no real basis for it except that it makes me happy, too.
