I was once told this story by a transient worker. He said that he and a friend were dumpster diving, in the back of a Burger King. He said that while they were in the dumpster, someone from Burger King came and opened the door to throw in some wasted food. When he opened the door, and saw them inside the dumpster, he blurted out in astonishment "What are you doing in there?"
. So this guy's friend replies "I'm the Hammmmmburglar!"
Lucky the BK employee wasn’t thoughtlessly pouring in ‘the green slime’ … that’s the goop our grocery store actually purchased in gallon jugs for us to pour over recently dumped produce to discourage anyone from using it. I refused to ..though it would have been grounds for dismissal..
Dumpster diving at a Burger King must be a nasty experience
By law they have to throw the food out. When in college, my ex wife worked at Hardies. Her boss would sit the breakfast leftovers outside for staff to pick up and take home. As long as he set it within 10 feet of the garbage he was legal.
