My atheism is getting me kicked out yet again. Iv basically been bouncing between places without the time nesscary or supportive people around me to build a life of stability. Go figure that my last friend's were intolerant fundamentalists. My Facebook has had atheist themed posts for more than a year now and they had plenty of time to take offense before it even mattered.
Update, found an apartment and got a local job. Things were hectic with no net so I apologize for the delay of informing everyone.
That does bite. A reason, outside of college dorm life and my folks place, I have I live alone. Even when I lived with a significant other, I kept my cheap apartment. Housing in my earlier working years (I still work) were not good. Basement apartment, no shower, tiny RV bathtub and bathroom under stairs, carpet crunched from the ground water dissolving the concrete, no windows, door led into garage where 92 year old land lord often drove leaving a blue haze of carbon fumes so airing out apt not possible, no cable tv one or two tv channels if the weather was good, no Internet, no sewer traps, no air conditioning, no laundry so had to walk a dozen blocks to wash clothes. Bathtub often filled with raw sewage from upstairs - - returning from x-mas breaks I was on several occasions greeted by poo and toilet paper that had cascaded from the overfull bathtub into the bathroom and bedroom. . . etc. When that stuff dries it turns into concrete. Was able to save money but not a fun place to live. Wish you luck. Later in years I found comfort as an atheist on Youtube Atheist experience etc. - - - and now this site. Back then, aside from myself and a catholic preacher I was introduced to by my orchestra director, there were no rational people that I knew of that held my lack of (Faith) fantasy belief. I wish you luck.
kicked out of where? pardon me if i'm thick but i am not understanding what you've been kicked out of. if you have an apartment, your landlords cannot legally kick you out for being an atheist. if you're staying with friends... why? and why choose people who are fundies? can you clarify?

Kicked out of my former friends home, its hers I don't rent and wasn't even here long enough to get proof of residency since I kept my outings to job hunt only to preserve my limited funds. And had I know they were or not wouldn't have changed much I turned to them in desperation to fight off being homeless again. Been here 2 months and job searching the whole time I had 6 Interviews and was just officially higherd by ups. Paying for half of my food the first month and again this 3rd one, like I wasn't being a slouch. It might sound pretty but in comparison the Male of the house has been half heartedly looking to get perminate disability for 7 years for what I believe to be fained back pain (can still shoulder a 50lb food bag)
@BABSDAGGER well, if you were just hired, and you don't lose the job on account of not having a place to stay, you should be able to find your own place eventually. i hope you make it.

Why would you keep asserting your atheism with people you know are religious or fundamentalists, especially knowing you are dependent on them? Next time try to fly below the radar. Don't mention it, and if the conversation comes up.........lie. I don't usually advocate lying unless it's extenuating circumstances, but it seems that's what this is.
I shouldn't have to in any circumstances hide what is the most important aspect of how I think and reason. Though thinking and reason seem to come off as offensive concepts to faith based people's.
@BABSDAGGER Ok, so then keep doing what you're doing.
