I love to travel, but the last day may be a rush to get home by 2am just to sleep at home again.

I always can't wait to get home and sleep in my own bed!

@SukiSue I've gotten to the point that I'll make the next to last day end at least 10 hours from home so that I am not tempted to "just another hour" all the way home.

Home w my boys and music and coffee makes me happy . I have been sooo much " out " in my life , and it was great , but the last 2 yrs I just like staying in . This is certainly not great if I decide to date again . Nobody is gonna come and ring my front bell I am sure . But for now , I enjoy the quiet and the peace .

When I hear people say they are going here or there or doing the camping out thing or the cabin on the lake thing....to "get away".....I now laugh. Get away from what? You spend so much time and money feathering your nest so that is beautiful and comfortable and inviting and then you just can't wait to get the hell away from that? Dude....how about you enjoy that place you call home???

@Pralina1 I like you, too, honey - and you know I'm just messing with everyone. Trips (vacations) are fun - but I will admit I enjoy being home a lot more than I used to. I chalk it up to old age! 😉

I'm definitely an "either way" type. I like being home, but sometimes can't wait to get out for a bit. My best vacations ever were a week camping and bicycling across Iowa. Did that twice, can't wait to do it again!

I do like trips. Especially outdoor activities and festivals.

Took off on a ‘well planned several day’ adventure last spring ..where after a frustrating first day decided - I’m goin home! Grinned all the way 😀
