Just finished a massage on a client of mine who said he wished he had worked less and goofed off more. Reminded me of the old saying, "no body on there death bed ever said I should have worked more". Any thoughts on this

The way I live my life is predicated along these lines. I "retired" many times in my life, it lasts 7 years on average, I am not wealthy, I have never been interested in travel, but spent a lot of quality time with my kids and undertook many projects I believe in. The idea is to think back on my death bed and say "no regrets".

I am retired and can honestly say I really enjoyed my varied working life I don't miss it because it gave me a lot of skills I still use.

Your client and the old saying are right. I've literally watched a colleague work himself to death. It would have been better for him and his family if he had been able to achieve some balance.

That's something I should seriously take into consideration. All I really do is work.
I don't go out much. After a shift, I go home. Unwind a little bit and eventually pass out.. Only to repeat the same process very and over again.

Good advice. More balance with work and relaxation is something we should do before we retire.
