Quarrel as you like about definitions, but I already think we have fascism here in the US and it's been driven by so-called conservatives or, as Noah Chomsky calls them, radical statists.

No quarreling here. It is very important for all to be on the same page regarding the definition of a word though when said word is the topic of the discussion... yes? I find it interesting you claim some form of Fascism being driven by ''so-called Conservatives'', when typically it is the progressive Liberal that always pushes for Gov. to enact debilitating rules and regulations on the free market. But that's just my observation l guess.. ?

Luckily, the 'corporation' Mussolini was talking about was not what we call a corporation today. We know a corporation as a business that has been registered by it's owner with the gov. as a ''corporation''.. Benito was referring to the whole of society as a corporation. We have to make sure we understand the distinction between the two definitions before talking about how gov. may or may not have an impact on one or the other..

Yeah, wow! I've been saying for a while, for all the conservatives concerns that liberals are turning the US into a socialist country, I am myself concerned about the conservatists turning the US into a fascist country.

That was in Italy. Over here it is wrapped in the American flag.
