Flint is still without water because it's too expensive. Children are starving. Vets are homeless. People are dying from treatable diseases.
But we can raise 5 mil for a wall o' racism. You know.....because it will help americans.
Yeah right. If you donated to that stupid wall while we can't even get a city water then you don't care about the American people you just care about keeping brown people out.
I see you have a strong opinion on this. The wall is because he won the election saying this and nothing else. One does not spend money on the poor, downtrodden, people who have been screwed so it can be given to the rich, Where do you think you live? Amerika is for the white people. Now, I agree with you, and until every other American does so also we are all going to get fucked without any lubricant.
Many people think of roads and bridges when the word infrastructure is used, however our aging water and sewage systems are probably the most important infrastructure need in our country today. At one time we had the best plumbing in the world, but today that is no longer the case. The gigantic sales of bottled water are partially fueled by advertising but they are also fueled by bad tasting borderline water that many older communities now provide. Decent tasting Safe Water should be available to every American without buying it in a bottle.
I like the one where Republicans rant about the government and how they hate it while raising money for the government to build a wall.
Elon Musk keeps his word, pays for water filtration systems in Flint schools

Some people in Flint really need some hard time in prison.
True but Flint is not the only place with water that bad or where poor brown people get ignored and sick and die because of it. It's the poster child of a much larger problem. We need to address it as a nation and not just jail some people in Flint and call it a day.
@MsAl and the administration is going to weaken the EPA. The fucking EPA! I hope all the conservatives water sucks, but it is usually the poor that suffer. The EPA, started by Nixon. Even he could never be as biggus dickiss as tRump.
@Beowulfsfriend Ues someone needs to start really standing up for regulations. Banks and corporations will literally kill people or just let them die to keep profit going. Not exactly what Flint was about but still. Regulations are needed.
Exactly! The Flint water problem was created by doing a change in water supply that was also directed at brown or black people. Read enough about it and you find this out. Contracting city water to someone that cannot and will not do a good job is a bad move. From what I read I take it as a "racist move" and I'm not sure anyone is interested in fixing it. Thankfully my small town community has their own wells and so far we have zero additives for our water.
