I see posts often enough here which criticize the chump for what is obvious hypocrisy concerning faith. I hope this post will in some small degree demystify the tolerance so-called pop-christians abide in the chump. Logic will not suffice.
I live in the redder of red. very close to 80% of the vote in the county I live in went red in our last presidential conflict.
If you were to stand in this nation's favorite Big Box store here and shout, "I hate Jesus!" it would be safer than shouting, "I hate Trump!", though both would be very ill-advised. I believe that some around here have it in their heads that the chump is actually helping Jesus. Jesus needs the chump to make America great again in their minds. Do y'all not know that Jesus has given the chump a free pass for all of his help? Of course they arent going to see hypocrisy, christ is rooting for the jerk.
This way of making a point about the mentality of a pop-christian trump voter might be a stretch here, really more of a slight tug.

I'm seeing this in Silly, Random & Fun. Is that deliberate?

yes. sometimes, often I'm laughing, or amused by the people around me. what i write is opinion. I'm not a journalist.

Trump is the typical Christian in our society. He just has more publicity.
